The business began as a specialist yacht valeting company with a clear focus on raising service standards. As demand grew, so did our expertise, expanding into engineering, repairs, and yacht management. In 2014, we rebranded as Ocean Marine Services to reflect this broader scope.

Ocean Marine Services began in 2005, originally under the name Oceans Clean, with a focus on yacht valeting and aesthetics. The goal from the outset was to bring a higher standard of service to boat owners on the South Coast.

As demand grew, so did the range of services. The business built a skilled team who share the same commitment to quality and attention to detail, enabling OMS to expand into a complete yacht care provider. For highly specialist tasks, trusted external experts are also used to ensure every project is handled to the highest standard.

In 2014, the company rebranded to Ocean Marine Services to reflect the wider scope of services offered. From its early days with a simple focus on cleaning and presentation, OMS has developed into a multi-level marine service provider, known for its expertise, professionalism, and dedication to client care. Alongside this, OMS also introduced a trade desk, supplying the DIY market and trade clients with parts and equipment, including shipping.
