This was a complete overhaul of the engine bay and all systems on board. We removed two diesel engines and repowered with twin Volvo Penta V8 petrol engines, greatly enhancing performance. This three-month project encompassed removing everything in the engine bay, a full rewire of both 240V and 12V systems, and the installation of a Dynamic Positioning System (DPS), joystick controls and a bow thruster. This repower and yacht refit showcases precision marine engineering, yacht maintenance and powerboat upgrades.
Enhancing the aesthetics of the vessel, the dashboard was completely remodelled, and the marine electronics were updated. Structural repairs were undertaken beneath the fuel tank. Minor repairs were also completed to rubbing strakes, paintwork and gelcoat to restore a high-quality finish.
This is now one of the finest examples of a Sunseeker Tomahawk 37, both aesthetically and in terms of performance. The project highlights expert marine engineering, yacht refit capability and reliable powerboat maintenance.
