Project Overview
The owner of a Fairline Squadron 58 commissioned us to undertake a complete refit, transforming both the interior and exterior of the yacht. This extensive project included updating all internal finishes, fittings, and systems, alongside a series of major exterior works to enhance the vessel’s appearance, functionality, and usability.
The goal was to rejuvenate the yacht to modern standards of luxury, style, and performance, while also incorporating a number of bespoke upgrades tailored to the owner’s requirements.
Challenges
Comprehensive Project Scope: Coordinating interior and exterior works across multiple trades, including upholstery, joinery, electrics, AV systems, polishing, teak, and canvas.
Luxury Finishes: Maintaining the Squadron’s reputation as a premium yacht with high-quality materials and workmanship.
Bespoke Details: Delivering unique custom touches — such as the cockpit helm station and bespoke cockpit table — required precision craftsmanship and tailored installation.
Our Approach
Interior Works
Head & Wall Linings – Replaced tired linings with new finishes for a clean, modern appearance.
Electric Blinds – Installed new electric blinds for comfort and convenience.
Upholstery – Reupholstered all interior seating in premium fabrics chosen by the owner.
Carpets – Fitted new high-quality carpets throughout saloon and cabins.
Audio Visual Systems – Installed upgraded AV systems, providing state-of-the-art entertainment onboard.
Exterior Works
6. Third Helm Station – Designed and installed a fully functional third helm in the cockpit for improved manoeuvrability.
7. Bespoke Cockpit Table – Crafted and fitted a custom cockpit table, tailored to the yacht’s space and style.
8. Teak Works – Revived existing teak throughout and installed brand-new teak decking to the bathing platform.
9. Superstructure Polish & Valet – Completed a full deep polish of the superstructure and full valet to restore the yacht’s exterior shine.
10. Canvas Work – Supplied and fitted new tailored canvas covers for weather protection and style.
11. Carbon Dashboards – Installed sleek new carbon dashboards to modernise the helm aesthetics.
Outcome
The Fairline Squadron 58 was completely transformed inside and out. The interior refit created a modern, luxurious living space, while the exterior upgrades enhanced usability, style, and durability. With custom details such as the cockpit helm station and bespoke table, plus a polished superstructure and fresh teak, the vessel now looks and feels like a brand-new yacht.
